Hi All,

Picked up my 2007 Vantage today and I'm a very chuffed bunny. The car is everything I had hoped it would be and a bit more, not sure if I should of held out for the premium audio as I find myself turning it down to listen to the great sound track of the V8. However the audio system is very impressive. I do just have a couple of questions:

1.) Wind noise, I've only driven one other Vantage and I do't remember wind noise that much. At around 60/70mph I notice wind noise which seems to emanate from the front. Is this normal? This is not wind noise like a window being open.

2.) After parking up I heard what sounded like water dripping onto something hot (I guess the exhaust pipe). Is this normal and is it related to the AC, I was running the car with the AC switched on. Sound was not metal contracting but more like water turning to steam!

Thanks in advance for the replies, itching to get back out in the car.

Ac drain is right above exhaust
A lot of car makers are doing this so your not left with big pools of water on your garage floor.

I know you say 1) isn't wind noise but check both windows, especially passneger side are fully up. Car should drop windows a coupple of mm on opening the door then raise it when closed to complete the seal. Passenger one may not be fully up
Not had 2) but have beeb in Spain with car and found a puddle of water under the car - turned out to be condensation off the AC as car cooled down! If you leave the heater / AC controls on Auto - Air con is always on anyway - not found too many times to manually play with the climate control settings (bar the temperature).
Enjoy!
Pictures!!!
