Front LEDs are less bright on one side...

Having already experienced the failure of one of the rear light clusters (mucho £££s), I'm quaking at the thought of one of the front's going as well. But with LEDs I thought they would just fail and that's that. Is the fact that one set is slightly dimmer than the other a warning sign? Perhaps Rick you might know - I've got my car booked in with you in March for its 5-year service. I have a few months left of my extended warranty if there's any chance of it be covered.
