Good evening all.
After 4 years of owning an outstanding M3 I've finaly bought a 2006 V8 Vantage. I have to say its everything I was expecting and a whole lot more.
Took it for a spin over the weekend and the sound from it still makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck.
If the weathers nice this weekend I will try and get some decent photos to put up.
I do have a question though if I may. I have the second key and fob but the fob is not working. I have changed the battery but still no joy. Would I have to get it reprogrammed by A main dealer?
It did have 1 small problem before I picked it up and that was 1 set of the front LEDs would not light up. We thought it was a fuse but it turned out to be something on the PCB in the headlight. Aston wanted to supply a new headlight at a cost of over a thousand pounds. There was also a 2 week wait for the headlight as well.
The garage I bought it from found an electronics company in Manchester that looked at it and fixed it for a fraction of the cost of a new unit. Its now as good as new, so if anyone has the same problem I'll pass the name on to you.

Interesting to hear that an electronics company in Manchester fixed your LED sidelights in the headlight. Some folk have issues where the rear lights fail and have to replaced so it would be good if you could post up the name of the company as it could be worth them having a look at a failed rear light cluster.

Im told it cost just over £400 to repair the PCB. Might sound like a lot but its a lot cheaper than a new headlight. (By the way I have No conection to this company just passing on info that might help others)

Enjoy your Vantage, mine is at DMS for a 4yr service, MOT, rear pads, geo, J1 filters and has been given a clean bill of health (Cheers Rick )
I collected my V8V last night
It was dark last night, and is miserable outside today so no photos, but from the outside it looks just like the one pictured above! The inside is unusual (in fact I haven't seen another with this combo) it is duotone Falcon and Phantom grey - I'll post some photos next week.
Love the car, immaculate condition, originally owned by an F1 driver and then by a very fastidious chap who has kept it immaculate at any expense
