Just a speculative question really but has anyone tried alternatives to the OE Bridgestones? I'm thinking Michelin PS2's and wondering if it makes the drive more 'sport' than 'GT', just an idea...

Answered my own question, Michelin don't make the right size for the front, doh...

Down to Pirelli P-Zero Neros which I was never that fussed about.

It sounds as if what you need is not tyres, but the sports pack. It changes the way the car drives quite significantly.

That would be plan A for sure, plan B was possibly a compromise while I save up ;-)

To be honest I've only just bought it so have been getting used to everything, was really a speculative question in case it was something that had already been tried.

Having said that I did wonder about another halfway house on the Sports Pack and to stick with the orignal wheels.

I mean I understand they're a 2.2lbs a corner lighter but when you think spring rates are (completely guessing) 300lb/in or more, playing the percentages how much difference can that make...
