Switch (Works) for Fuse 22 operation
Discussion
When searching past post, I saw where a number of folks had Aston works install a switch near the steering column for turning on and off the exhaust flaps. Does anyone have a part number for the switch (I want to order one)? Also for anyone that has completed this how was the wire run to get under the dash, I though along the side under the carpet near the sills or up the center console the other option. I will be using a relay at the fuse box.

From memory the switch itself is not that special, check out RS components, you should be able to find a suitable switch there for much less than Aston want to charge you for.Chris
I must say I have been thinking about the Paralight remote option (which I assume can still be ordered at Fuse22.net). Has anyone got one, were you able to still close the fuse box lid to ensure it remains watertight and did that involve drilling holes etc (I get very nerves about doing such things to my new car).
Part of me is still thinks taking the fuse out does not fit with the Aston image, but at the same time I found myself driving back and forth through the only tunnel in my area for the first time at the weekend. I am sure a middle aged man should not be doing such things, but I was laughing out loud at the great noise, which of course only really kicked in over 4k rpm

I have it out and sometimes feel exactly the same about the image; mine's in 'pretty' light blue too so shouldn't be so rebellious! But then I put my foot down and remember why Part of me is still thinks taking the fuse out does not fit with the Aston image, but at the same time I found myself driving back and forth through the only tunnel in my area for the first time at the weekend. I was interested in a switch rather than a fiddly remote. I was thinking of either the "works" solution on the dash or a switch in ashtray. Granted the wireless would remove the need to run wiring. If anyone has a photo of the switch and switch location it would be very helpful and for anyone that has completed this effort; where did you run the wire. If I was not on the otherside of the world I would just bring it to Rick and be done with it.
