Will easily fit downstairs and upstairs, tastey stuff usually gets directed downstairs so you'll be OK with a normal booking.

Taken a Vantange on a couple of times, and been on the Chunnel in a number of other cars. Avoid the top deck! Its got a very steep slope with a slight turn at the top - no view at all in an Aston. Just tell them you can't fit on the top deck and they will load you onto the lower deck.
You will only have a couple of inches spare on the lower deck for the wheels so take it slow, and fold the mirrors in when going past the toilts / stairs as its tight.

avoid upper deck at all costs....UK side you are ok...but the French ramps are a little higher....scrapped my front end quite badly.....lower decks no problem...

I have heard that people when making online booking tick the box for high vehicle or something, and you then always get put downstairs and it doesn't cost extra... Never done chunnel in a car so wouldn't know the exact deal or terms here!

No need for a special booking. Every time we have been I've just asked the "loader" at check in to go on the bottom deck because of clearance problems. They've always been most accommodating.

This is a doddle guys. Just book your car as being high (roof rack etc.) and they will then load you on the carriage that takes the lorries and vans. This solves all the "top-deck problems"....there is only one level in there.... and has the benefit that the entry and exit from the train is very gentle as you'd expect from something designed to take trucks/vans/coaches. No charge for this and I even managed to avoid grinding the nose of the F355. My V12 Vantage was a doddle by comparison!!

I have nothing but good to say about the whole Eurotunnel experience from start to finish. Very slick and easy. Pay with Tesco vouchers and it's dirt cheap too!!!

Enjoy

As everyone says - normally they wave you downstairs if not then a quick point at the downstairs or a quiet word and its sorted.

My only issue with going in with the trucks etc is if there are coaches there and they allow the kids/people to get off. Thats a lot of brushing past the car with coats/rucksacks/zips etc
