My emission warning light comes on. I ring Rick at DMS. Pop over he says ill reset it.

Fancy a tea he says
Cool ta
My car mists up a bit I say
No worries lets just refill your air con system
How about checking the tyre pressures too
And cleaning the throttle body inlet
And taking my passenger door panel off to check alignment

All done cool

Hows that for service smile

No problem mark and looking forward to helping with your new project, Rob I only think it is considered up selling if we actually charged Mark for the extra work which we haven't although he did offer to pay, I do feel it is very important to listen and try to sort out any niggles foc if we can, as mikey says a happy customer will continue to use us, As Mark travelled 140 miles just for a code read I thought it only fair to reward him for his loyalty and look at the other points he mentioned when we asked if everything else was ok,

Going the extra mile ALWAYS pays off.

When I am back in the AM fold I certainly intend to use Rick (180 mile round trip) and if I end up with experiences like this one it will always be rewarded with lots of work in return smile

Don`t forget Before the warranty runs out, (MO(cuppa)T time usually) to have a end of warranty health check up !! as this may pick up on things you might otherwise find costly later,

Not sure if Rick and the enthusiastic team carry out warranty work??,

Any work/servicing etc carried out by an independent should not affect your dealer warranty in any way,
Im sure. Although we all know what tricks Greedy main dealers try to get away with

There is a big difference in quality and value and satisfaction when people are enthusiastic and passionate about the pleasure they carry out
and those who are just in it to generate money.
