New Vantage Model
Discussion
I completely forgot to post, but on a recent trip to my dealership when taking a peak at an N420 Coupe it was revealed to me that both a Coupe and Roadster 'Vantage S' were shortly to be revealed. As best I understood it that meant no engine tweaks just a different body kit and wheels again.
Has anybody else heard of such a thing? Wondering if I even remembered the name he said right but Google shows nothing yet - would a salesman lead me on?

Seems he told the truth! I want one.
The Vantage S is instantly recognisable as a true Aston Martin, characterised by its purposeful stance conveying its agility and performance capability. From the front, a new lower front bumper finished in perfectly-aligned carbon fibre houses a larger air intake feeding the engine and front brakes. The splitter combined with the extended deck lid ‘flip’ work in harmony to provide increased down force at speed. New 19 inch ‘V’ spoke wheel styles are available as standard, while an optional 10-spoke lightweight forged wheel option, reduces unsprung mass further. A new rear bumper and side sills optically widen the car.
So from that picture , yes it will look the same.

Stolen alot of bits off the V12 , Front splitter, rear diffuser , rear tailgate (on the blue one),carbon side strakes on the blue one.
Its been said many times before with the 420 , but this is more where it should of been to start with , an out and out 911 beater.
I am liking this alot.

Vantage fan - any figures on the weight saving?
The info is all on the AM website.V8
Weight (Coupe): 1630 kg (3595 lb)
Weight (Roadster): 1710 kg (3770 lb)
V8S
Kerb Weight (Coupe) 1610 kg (3549 lb)
Kerb Weight (Roadster) 1690 kg (3726 lb)
So its a 20KG reduction in weight - which is probably down to the V12 splitter and diffuser I would guess - possibly some weight saving in the new gearbox?? 20kg isnt much - just like 10BHP isnt much either but its prob enough to make people want the V8S I guess.
