Is it law to have light adaptors even if you dont drive at night,or is easy to convert the beam angle?

I'm guessing it is the law however I have never put them on my DB9 Volante as I have had no intention of driving at night.

I do, however, keep a pack of them in the boot in case les flics stop me for any reason!

They are already fitted to the lamps there is a converter lever inside of the lamp all be it a bit awkward to do.

Not sure if it is in the hand book.
Would be a good idea to take it into the shop to get it done as H I D lights are very dangerous.

If I just want to go down the route of carrying stick ons with no intention of using them. Who would supply such items?

it is a pain to change over , wheel off and arch liner off as well, both sides.

A good dealer will do it FOC.

Hi, I just carry the stick on beam deflectors in the car, in case of being stopped by the Gendarmes. No intention of using them - no point with HID lights. You can get them at Halfords (the generic ones that cover most makes of car), or in the shop at the Channel Tunnel

Likewise.

In the last 5 years, across 4 different cars I have done 19 trips to the continent, never once have I put anything on my lights and never once have I been stopped for it. On every trip I have had a pack just in case though. Likewise I've never had a GB sticker/logo/badge.

There are various things you must have in car for driving in France, so I just have a little bag I make sure I take when I cross the channel; including lights, a GB sticker, high-vis jacket and some other things I think.
