advice please db9 or v8 vantage
Discussion
hi chaps, looking to change from my e46 m3 later in the year, wife wants a db9, but i quite like the v8 vantage.
what are the differences? I know they are different cars, but from looking on here year for year they are about the same price give or take!
We cant afford new, I see there are a few around at about 40k, what are the real life running costs? will i be able to keep it on the road? Hoping for a bit of advice from an owner and really would like to get in one by summer

Basic differences:
The DB9 is a bigger car
DB9 = V12
DB9 = 2 + 2 seating
DB9 is softer ride
Vantage = V8
Vantage = 2 seater
Vantage = firmer / more driver focussed
I am not sure that there is much in the performance (other than top speed)in acceleration terms, but would wager that a Vantage is a bit nippier on the twisty bits
