Identify an Aston please.
Discussion
Driving on the M4 near Reading around 8pm last night an Aston passed us and I was unsure of the model. It looked like a DB9 at first galnce but had different bumpers and grills on the bonnet. It was not a DBS as the rear light clusters were not clear. It had V12 on the the plate but looked bigger than a V12 Vantage. It was a hardtop, silver/grey but had a black roof that continued down the rear roof pillars. It also looked amazing.
What did I see?
TIA

Do not think it was a Vanquish. I see one local to me often and would have recognized it.
Rapide? it was a coupe.
It was the roof that threw me as have never seen this detail before on an Aston. Could have been a One-77 but not the one in the above link as it was that grey/silver that looks so good on AM.
Thanks all for your input.

Having now watched the video in the above link I think it was a One-77 due to the rear view and size. Is this feasible? The plate read V12 followed by two or three letters

It is feasable, as the One-77 are being driven on the roads clocking up the mileage. Around the M40 in Warks/ MIRA in Leicesterhsire you're likely to see one or two.
They also have a few test drivers whose job it is to drive one. Every day, in all weathers. To the shops, drop the kids off at school, or to lands end. Park it up overnight on their driveway, or in their garage. "normal use", in other words
