Further to my many tuning posts for the Vantage thought I’d let you all know about an excellent new service that Torque Developments now provide.

It’s called a “Pre-Trackday Inspection” but covers a thorough inspection on the whole car; from chassis alignment and geometry check right through to a thorough engine performance dyno run and exhaust noise measurements.

Their geometry measuring equipment is state of the art, and the dyno run also covers air/fuel ratio data as well as providing DIN corrected power and torque figures.
In addition there’s a 26 point inspection so although this service is primarily intended for those people preparing for track day activities, it’s also relevant for regular road users looking for a bit of peace of mind.

The cost is £168 (inc VAT) which I reckon is good value given the extensive work involved and the attention to detail TDI always provide.
I’ve included some pics of the SLINC chariot being pampered…

If you’re interested then contact Mark, Sam or Shaun @ TDI (West Thurrock);

No - but not through lack of trying!
Their last effort involved hitching up the ECU to an independent signal processor to see if they could improve the power/torque figures or even alter the air/fuel ratios the ECU was commanding.

Ultimately they couldn't extract anything extra than that already provided by the reflash I'd previously had done at Paramount.

Thanks Slinc, I have read that thread but wanted to see how TDI got on as you have said how good they have been with you and your car.

No probs.

I'm STILL trying to persuade them to conduct some research and development on a Supercharger conversion though!
Paramount started the ball rolling with their effort using a lightweight Eaton unit which comes "box-ready" from the states but had mixed results with getting the ECU to perform properly once fitted.
(As featured in EVO magazine)

I reckon TDI could improve on that...

The forum will notified if they decide to take the plunge!

The ECU solution is sorted and functional but was removed from SLINCS's car as no further improvements could be found over and above the high performance calibration that was previously re-flashed smile

Exellent, could you message me the details(expected gains, cost) please.
