Am I being a bit girly ? Why are you all being so discreet about your reg Nos. I am chuffed to bits with mine. My 10 out of 10 wife bought me mine as a surprise Christmas pressie. i cannot remember a more thoughtfull well recieved present. Am I missing something / if so Too Late.

Completed another 60 miles today. She just lopes along at about 60 MPH on an A road. It is extremely cold but I choose to have the window open , no music just listening to the oh so relaxed burble from the exhaust pipes.

My wife has informed me that I am rambling . So What !

Nice plate and don't worry about rambling!

From what I hear, I think people are afraid their cars will be cloned hence hiding the reg number. Not sure how applicable that is to an Aston though.

I have often thought the same - after all if someone wants to clone a car, you would stand on the high street and take your pick.

It's probably more due to people liking to remain anonymous on the internet??

I always cover my plates up when posting pics on the Internet just because if anyone did want to copy the plate I want to make it as hard as possible for them to do that. It's just about making it a little harder than it could be.

Don't think anyone in an Aston is likely to do this but I did have the plates stolen off my Ford focus once. Police said it was because fuel thieves use them to fill up and then drive off without paying or they use it for running around in London, getting parking tickets and congestion charge fines without incurring any expense themselves. Highly unlikely in an Aston though I would think.....So thats why I never really publish my plates....just a habit I have got into over the years....
