First of all. Happy new Year to you all.
My new V8Vantage arrived at 10.15. I have had some sort of exciting day during which I have had a steady stream of visitors who have all made the right cooing noises. The car is stunning. So looking forward to our first trip tomorrow.
I will post pictures and the full spec when I have had a good nights sleep!

We went for our first drive today. The weather was kind to us. Was it worth the 4 months wait ? Did our Aston live upto expectations? You bet it did and then some. Completed about 110 miles including a stop off for lunch. We managed to bag a seat by the window so it could be admired.
Observations so far , the gearbox likes to be handled quite firmly not like the wifes Honda. The indicators quite the reverse, to avoid going from left to rightand vice versa, The sat nav is to be left alone for the present but then the system in the Honda bewilders me.
The seats are supremely comfortable, now the real stuff. The noise from the sports exhaust going through the tunnel in Monmouth made the wife and I roar with laughter. The performance without really going over 4000 rpm is startling. The sheer feeling of driving a car so very special is very hard to describe. I love it !
