Sorry, another which Indi - Oxon / Bucks/ Thames Valley
Discussion
All roads (well most) seem to lead back to Rick @ DMS and he is definately first on the list currently, however it is a bloody long way to take the car for a service. I'm actually quite surprised there's not more choice - certainly a gap in the market.
When I had my TVR's I had a choice of 2 Indis within 30 mins drive and several more within an hour.

When I had a DB7 it went to Chiltern Aston, just outside Bovingdon/Hemel. That's probably your closest.
Thanks, just Googled them - about 40 mins away from me and they collect / deliver which is a bonusHowever, I have to ask, as you live in Notts, why so you travel to Essex?
ETA - what a fine collection on Astons you have sir

there is a world of difference between a classic specialist and a specialist who deals and understands the current models, as I have found to my cost and from my experience there is only a choice between the dealers and Rick,
In relation to the modern era cars, the classic specialists do an excellent job in their field and some are progressing into the current models as I am based in London I have either spoken or tried the majority but as I have found a vast difference in expertise the electronic world is completely different to the earlier cars, mechanically the concept may have some relation but i feel the comparison ends there, each to their own,
I will choose a plumber to fix my toilet an electrician to sort out my lighting and an established vw expert who understands my car to sort out my 59 beatle, if I had an older Aston rick would not be my choice as I have a DB9 either i would take it to my local dealer which I have been less than impressed by, or take it to Derby or get dms to collect it i have done both, I know my job and trust that rick knows his and have always felt satisfied with the work, price and experience, just my two pence worth and knowing my p and j is well looked after what ever the cost is my main concern,
