Another for sale at Lancaster Cambridge here http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2352243.htm
I think this car was for sale much earlier this year as it was the first photos I saw of the colour Mako and this inspired me to hunt another one down.
The car has full leather seats and the blue interior, which would have put me off at the time had I had the funds.

The question is, with there only being four Makos built for the UK (excepting the last 2 months), does anyone know this car or anyone at Lancaster Cambridge?

I'd really like the chassis number (last 3 digits) and reg! Would the dealer give me this info if I was to phone them up?

Hmm, so this dude on the internet gets a pistonheads posting but you never called me back about a test drive on the 23rd ? ;-)

I'm the guy who drove the V8 Vantage that Martin Hollywoods Dad used to drive.

Note to OP - I saw it first!!!!!!

I thought that as well. Just re-looked on iplayer - difficult to tell if its a blue or black interior from the TG shots. But there can't be too many other Mako Blue's out there. If it is the one the Stig was drifting, you'd want new rear tyres as a minimum. Hope they weren't doing the drifting on a cold engine.

Works service prep the car before you get it and make it "good as new" - I am pretty sure that those tyres were down to the canvas by the time Stig was done !

8,400 miles of press use including The Stig. Last press car went for a bit less than this one!

I think it was. I could see that it had the baltic blue interior like the one for sale in Cambridge.

The mako looks great, when I drove past the other day I nearly sperm

The ask price for the Mako V12 at Lancaster Cambridge has dropped from £105k to £100k.

Does anyone know the book drop expected for this age/mileage V12V at the moment?

A former colleague used to say value only exists at point of trade. There's a point where the price becomes of interest even if you know the car has done harsh miles....

Besides which, I am running a marathon in April so I'll take your advice and knock out a few miles on the Embankment.

John - I've got book values each month for mine since purchase last Aug. I'll post them up in a new topic later. Makes interesting reading!
