Hi all, was trying to get the phone working on my 56 reg v8v but with sim in place keeps telling me to insert sim, the sim card is from 3, has anybody used a 3 sim or whats the prefered sim to use, thanks in advance.
I have an Orange sim in my DB9 worked first time with no problems. Salesman was a little surprised that it just worked with no issue. It is a Pay as You Go one.
The 3 sim is the only one that would not work as they use their own network and maybe a different frequency. Every other company uses 02, vodafone, orange, t-mobile networks so should work.
That sounds about right for me, the whole family are on 3 and when we get new phones they give free sims so we have 4 new spares, would have been to easy for me! Thanks everbody.
Did the food shoping yesterday at tesco, whilst at the till saw sim cards for 99p so grabbed one, put it in car and it works, excellent, only problem when i switch phone on the infocentre reads TESCO, lol!
