I have a nice little collection of 1:18 models of all of the cars I have previously owned, I gave up getting them in the right colours all of the time because it's far too hard but as of yet I haven't been able to find a Vantage Roadster. A request really if anybody knows where such a thing could be found if if I am going to have to stretch out my collection to "model lines" and buy a coupe?

If anybody has any ideas please let me know!

Thanks

ETA: I've even found a model Cygnet available, there just has to be a V8VR somewhere!

If you look on the AM website, they show a model Magma Red V8V in the background of the picture of the DBS model, so they do exist... couldn't find one though.

I could never find one and had to make do with the coupe which is still very nice. Having the same problem with the V12 Vantage. Dont think a street car has been made, but very happy to be proved wrong.

I know that I've seen a V12V 1:43 in my searches, I think it might have been minichamps but not sure about a 1:18 V12V.

I think I might have to resort to a 1:18 Coupe V8V too - ruining the collection but what else can I do frown Ok I don't think this is the biggest worry in life to be fair.

My V8V model is green and LHD but still nice. Like you I have collected 1:18 diecast of most of my cars and it irks me when I cant get one. The idiot manager in my local model shop even insisted there wasn't a V8V.

So what have I got sitting on my shelf then ????

Happy hunting

I've just realised something very, very, very silly.

Mine are all 1:43s, not 1:18s and I'm in a right muddle.

Off to the shops...

Collection complete after I get a hold of one of those then I think!

ETA: Now that we've found one I can't find anywhere I can buy it! The shop above seems to be the most 'official' and the woman on the phone said "it could be a week, it could be a year, we can't say when they will next come in". Hmmmm mission: find one asap!

Not quite what you're after but they will create an exact replica of your car - just not in the scale you're after.

Why not have your collection re-made in exact specifications?

When I've made billions I will have detailed models made of every car in the exact colours and wheel combinations etc that I had; however this isn't about to happen!

For now everywhere just seems out of stock of 1:43s of the V8VR, there seem to be 3 big online shops and none have it frown
