I wondered why all the snow melted on our driveway and here we have a very useful correlation - Aston thermometer shows it is 40 degrees outside, therefore Aston + melting snow are connected.

And here’s the evidence - and it must be right ‘cos it's scientifically based on an Aston thermometer. Now, all I need is a consensus of like minded people and we can make a few million quid by submitting the research. smile

I've seen 52C on mine during September. Can't remember it being that warm!

One downside of the Aston, the thermometer is useless, always wrong; I don't know what it is but it very rarely shows a figure close to what I'd expect it to be...

Could it not just be set to Fahrenheit?

It's heat soak.

The thermometer on mine always seems pretty accurate when underway. But after you've been on a spirited drive it nearly always reads high like this.

I think the little bobble at the front of the dash is the sensor. With the engine being so far back in the chassis, it's easy to see how heat soak can affect readings when still.

Nice to see a proper Aston Martin Owner: Tuned to Radio Four!
