I have never owned a Ferrari and the 612 might be an alternative to a DBS.

Are they alot more money to service/monthly running costs than a aston.
The reason for the 612, i have two children.

Well if you want to take the children along you need the 2+2 seating of the 612 as the DBS has very little space in the back. I have two kids and after one inaugural trip in my DB9 5 years ago they refused to go ever after so i went for a V12 Vantage instead and realized that there is no real compromise. If you need proper 4 seats the Rapide is probably the only alternative to the 612 which is a much bigger car than the DBS.
