Electric seat stuck on DB9?
Discussion
I had this once when my car came back from the dealer. Some kind of electronic memory needs resetting. It is covered on Pistonheads in a much earlier topic - you'll have to use the search facility. Solution is something like: move the seat all the way forward, then all the way back (which works once you have been all the way forward) then all the way up then down. Then you have to do the other seat, I think. Then the windows?! I opened and shut both doors, the boot and bonnet for good measure as well. Been fine since.
put key in ignition.....turn until dash lights come on....move seat all the way forward , and to max height....should now move backwards.....if it keeps happening could mean your battery on the way out , replaced my battery and have not had problem since...
personally i think it's a silver thing..!!!!

LOL but I have already tried this as suggested by an other (AMOC) but it still gets stuck, happens maybe once a week, and it doesn't make a difference if passenger is light/heavy or male/female as mentioned by PH member who will not be mentioned!!!!!personally i think it's a silver thing..!!!!
