I have a pair of these cheeky fellas to fit also...

Cheers,
Ian

Sound is incredible matethumbup

Yet you can still travel along the motorway cruising at 80ish without any drone really happy with them and
you really can feel the difference in performance.

Phoenix did a great job and by the sounds of it (excuse that terrible pun) it performs similar to Dave's experience. No drone or buzz at all whilst cruising but yes on acceleration and "full chat" the sound is amazing. Phoenix also made up a small back box on each side but it is straight through from the cats to the back boxes. The photo shows the tail pipes which are "slash cut" to be flush with the rear valance.

Very shiny!! I'm still looking for an aftermarket exhaust for my 2010 V8V. What make are these 2? I've been looking at a quicksilver supersports plus but it would be great to know if anyone has fitted one and what it's like. Currently running sans fuse 22 which is ok when pushing on but I miss the rumble at lower revs and on the overun.

That looks really cool, especially the tail pipes and rear light treatment.

I'm going to fit the rear box and cats, then decide which tail pipe tips.

Ian

This is a Larini rear box, plus 2 Larini free flow cats. Similar car.

I will give a full report after they have been fitted, then lake a good long drive.

Ian

Thanks Ian. Your car looks identical to mine. Fantastic in quantum silver. Look forward to hearing your comments on the fitted system. That looks like a shot on the quayside. If you're in the North East perhaps we can arrange to meet up sometime so I can hear what it's like?

Cheers JP

Is it just me that thinks Larini exhausts look a little "industrial"/"agricultural" with all that box section going on?

Partisan perhaps, but I have a Tubi on mine. It's much more "smooth" looking.

Sports exhausts are definitely worth a try. I wouldn't be without mine now. Takes the sound to just where it needs to be - the right side of rude biggrin

If the standard Vanquish rear box is any thing to go by they are very very heavy.
Although the outer box in well heat and sound insulated with rock wool , wrapped in stainless

Not sure I would say it looks industrial / agricultural

Form and function.....The box section not only supports the rear box but acts as rear crash protection. It's considerably lighter than the standard box or Aston's own 'Sports Box' which looks like it was welded by Stevie Wonder (No offence Stevie). I like the Tubi system but feel the Larini combo of box and cats will work well.

"Takes the sound to just where it needs to be - the right side of rude" biggrin
I totally agree and will feedback once I have picked the car up and had a good hoon.

Cheers,
Ian

Oh......my......Gosh......

The original cats are out and this baby ROARS........

Outside the car: Initial start up and I though the exhaust was straight through....then settles to a gentle purr on tick over.
Inside the car: Initial start up and the it sounds like the exhaust is coming straight out of the boot, then settles to a real American Muscle car purr.

Pull away and from inside the difference is amazing....after 3,000 revs it start to get louder and louder. Not Ferrari wail or Lambo wail, but a real bark.

On the open road at cruising speed it is a bit louder than without fuse 22. As soon as you touch the throttle pedal the sound engages and builds and builds.

At cruising speed, you would probaly need another couple of clicks up on the ICE than before, but no drone or uncomfortable noise.

Going for a long run next week.

Happy with it? Yes very much, bit louder than I expected but not boy racer. As mentioned here earlier....verging on being rude...but realy suits the car.

Also happy to give live audio soundtrack if anyone is in the North East

Cheers,
Ian.
