My V8V is Black and being 4yr old has some light stonechips on the bonnet/front valance being so low.
I have been to a local Tvr/Lotus/Noble dealer to have a look at the cars in the showroom. As with all lowslung cars they all have stonechips. I asked the owner about paint shield/armourfend which he said was fantastic but unless I got the car profesionally resprayed before fitting it wasn't worth it as the car is already marked.
He told me to enjoy the car and if I wanted to keep it long term then get it sprayed.
I also have no garage for the car so it sits outside it gets washed often though.
Whats everyones view's on leavong the car outside and the stonechips.
Im concerned about resale as Im in the trade and know the effects this can have.
How about good detailers in the north east would they help??

its what happens when you use a car
mine is so peppered at 54K miles an a few trackdays theres hardly any paint on the front bumper (its black too)
when you are ready to sell, spend £1500 on touch up job and it will be mint again for the new owner
if you want it to look nice all the time, have it sprayed, then film...and be careful polishing/waxing the film
mine lives outside, under a cover if more than a couple of days, its car, use it, enjoy it, drive it some more, thats what its for
