Is anybody able to find on the web, or post up a pic showing the boot space in the V8 Vantage Roadster?

I test drove one, but with hindsight I'm not entirely sure I ever looked in the boot and am starting to worry it's a bit too small. Quoted figures are only 144 litres which sounds absolutely tiny...

Hence it would be appreciated if somebody could post something up before I can go and see one again at the weekend.

Thanks

From CarshowClassicTV:

It was a real shock when I first opened the boot, but my wife and I live with it for long weekends away. If the alternative is not to have a Roadster, then we will live with the tiny boot.

Brilliant, thank you for that - watching the video was hugely informative also!

Looks fine for putting in 2 soft bags in the boot which is all you really need - can you hang a suit carrier somewhere convenient or have to squeeze that in the boot?

Many thanks!

There was an issue of the top gear magazine, where at the back of the magazine they test a few cars over a few months. About 6 months ago they had a v8 vantage.

IIRC they managed to get 2 sets of golf clubs and 2 small suitcases in the boot.

You can certainly get a suit carrier behind each seat. I like to have my seat right back, so not so much room on the driver's side, but okay on the passenger side.

On golf clubs, you might get two of those bags like arrow quivers they used before the war, but I can't think you'd get more than one of the big modern bags in. On top of a set of clubs, there would not be space for anything you could call a suitcase, just a soft bag or two with not much in. Hopefully you don't play golf. I don't, so no real problem.

Haha, thanks for the answers - very helpful!

Fortunately I haven't touched a golf club since I was at prep school so this is not an issue.

So long as it fits two soft holdalls and suit carriers as needed for a weekend away then I will be more than happy!

In my experience the amount of luggage always expands to fill the space available ! I can go away for a week on the Harley no problem so the bot on the Vantage is huge in comparison. As long as it will take a tooth brush it's fine.

Damn. You have a Harley AND an Aston Martin. I had to sell my Harley to help pay for the Aston.
