V8 Vantage Detailed and story told
Discussion
Good morning all
Well she is off for her quarterly detail tomorrow and I went on to my Detailers website to have a look at "Nanolax" as I’m tempted to have that done for ease over the winter (thoughts welcomed please). Whilst on the site I noticed this before, during and after story of the cars initial visit. I’d forgotten that he was doing it and I enjoyed the read and pics and thought that you might too. http://www.driveandshine.co.uk/wordpress/index.php...
I know opinion is divided on the value of professional Detailers but I have neither the time nor skill to do anything to this level so I for one am a big fan.

looks awesome ...black always does when its cleaned and looked after properly
id go for anything that can help in long term cleaning ...dunno what nanolex is, but im guessing its some kind of sealant, which is good on wheels for sure
I had my car treated by www.gtechniq.com with their polymer stuff, a month after I got the car. Now 3.5 years later it still beads water, although its picked up some inevitable swirls n chips over the last 51K miles n trackdays
I like a clean, well looked after car myself, but just dont have the time to spend a weekend on it myself, so Im quite happy to pay a pro to do it from time to time

On another note, I have lived in Godstone for 17 years & I don't even know where it is!
Is is in Lambs Business Park?

Looks stunning. Onyx is spectacular (yes, I'm biased, but that doesn't make me wrong ). The detailer's description says he put Nanolex on the wheels at that first visit.
You are indeed correct, Nanolax was put on the wheels at the first visit. I've been so impressed with how easy the wheels have been to clean and maintain that I'm contemplating Nanolaxing the whole car. In fact I'm dropping her off today and am pretty sure that's what I'm going to do. I will have a long discussion with Bryan first though (Detailer). Many thanks for all you comments.
