Oh man! My car went for a drive without me and decided to crash into another stationary car frown

Check the CCTV footage out:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EeVe5h0Zn6w

When I got back into the car after the accident the hand brake light was on and there was no clicking when I pulled the hand brake up (i.e. hand brake on). I'm thinking maybe a faulty hand brake switch or something?

Cracked paint and a scuff on the front bumper, getting it looked at tommorow.

My first vantage done the same. Parked on a slope at the house and
about an hour after leaving it the car alarm went off.
Looked out and car had rolled forward knocking a brick wall over
and only stopped going over the edge due to a brick being wedged
under the wheel. As luck would have it i had reported a problem about
4 days earlier with regards to handbrake light coming on. I was
told as car was due in soon to wait and they would look at it then.
Car was returned to aston who fixed everything and then due to
other issues replaced the car. This was about june 2006. Did not
put me off as now have 4.7 roadster. Hope its gets sorted.

But the car in the video drives around the car park forward and backwards for a while. Odd?

That is a CCTV camera replay being filmed off the screen using a handheld camera.

1. I parked up (badly) and applied the handbrake.
2. I went to the gym, but forgot my phone so came back.
3. A lady comes into the gym saying I crashed into her golf.
4. I think WTF
5. I get in and when I start the car the hand brake light is on and the brake lever is in the on position i.e. no clicks when you pull it up.

Better ? smile

Still feel sick mind, after getting the car detialed and A-Glazed a couple of weeks ago. It now has to go into the body shop for a spray.

Could it be a special factory option maybe? Self avoiding white van man device?

Maybe the person inside decided to move it forward to let the van through.
