Guys

Is there anywhere that does good quality touch up paint (for the usual stone chips) that you can recommend? I've seen a few places online that will do onyx black but wanted to make sure that the colour actually matches etc. Or is it best to just go to AM for it?

I refused to pay £55 for a pot of paint & lacquer from the dealer when it is standard paint system frown
SO I've just ordered one of these;

http://www.paints4u.com/ProductDetails.aspx?produc...

I'll try it on the stone chips in the front wheel arches and see how I go.
It has the flattening bits to get a really good finish as well.
At that price I'd be happy to bin it if it doesn't work.

The price depends on your dealer I think... Mine charged me £39 for a pot of paint and clear lacquer but they order it it to match the chassis number to ensure an exact match. Worth it IMHO as you wouldnt want the wrong shade of your colour by getting some generic colour match.

the paint , (touch up) is ordered direct from the factory , so any dif , is the dealer margin.

Exactly the same place I got touch up paint for my Rosso 430, it was perfect & easy to use..

Hey Alan. I dropped you a PM to your work e-mail on another issue. Would you be able to confirm the cost for the touch up kit as well when you get back to me? Cheers.

Try here:- http://www.dupontrefinish.eu/portal/

Click on colour retrieval, confirm that you agree to the statement, enter your colour, note the paint code then go to one of the local Du Pont suppliers:- http://www.dupontrefinish.co.uk/portal/?page=1.4_D...

But you may have to buy a litre starting from £60+ depending of the paint type and that is a lot of touch up sticks (200 to be exact)
