Did my alarm go off???

Good morning all

This may sound like a strange question but how do I know if my car alarm has gone off? In the wee small hours of the morning I heard a car alarming and it sounded close enough to be my '09 V8V which was safely tucked up in the locked alarmed garage. The house and garage alarm didn’t go off so no one could have been in there and the siren stopped before I got there.

On previous cars, if the alarm had been activated there was a bleep or some sign to let you know. Does the Aston have such a thing?

Took a quick look in my manual and there is zero info in there!

It does tell you. On my 09 V8V, the alarm was activated on the ferry coming back from France, having returned to the car, upon startup, the warning popped up.

same on my 07MY V8V - there was a warning along the lines of 'Alarm triggered - check vehicle' on the dash when I accidentally set mine off when testing the whole passenger door not locking thing (clearly, it wasn't locked!)
