Hi there,
I am currently about a month into ownership of my DB9 and have a couple of questions about the car, really trying to find out if the couple of issues I have are normal/common.
On the stereo it displays internal and external temperatures, both of which do not seem correct; the external temperature display normally reads about 84 degrees and the internal about 35 degrees. Are these just display figures or do they form part of any temperature regulation in the car. The reason I ask is that I never seem to be able to get warm air in the car, which would make sense if the car thought internal temperature was 35 and i was running it at 22, it would try to cool car down. I remember when i owned a V8 the external temperature display was always far higher than reality, but don't remember the internal gauge being quite so wrong.
Also, when I turn the ac on and direct all airflow to the windscreen, within a few minutes I get condensation patches at the bottom (external) of the screen, requiring a run of the wipers to remove. Its not a major problem but is this normal?

Thanks again in advance for any input.

I have this readout on the Jag we have and the external temp sensor seems to be a bit flakey.

Also the OBD usually reads an over voltage on that circuit, which would force the reading to be falsely higher than what it is.

The Aston probably has the same sensor, a black plastic thing tucked somewhere up front. If it's the same sensor then replacing our worked for a good few months until the fault reappeared though the part from Jag was only about £5 which incidentally had a Ford badge on it :-)
