New V8 Vantage coming to me for Jan 1st. What made you owners choose this car over a 911? or indeed vice versa. My decision without sounding naff came from the heart.AM have been brilliant. Have been on factory visits plus Millbook plus shortly to go on Performance Driving Course with the wife. I also cannot speak highly enough about the service recieved from Broughtons in Cheltenham,in particular Rachel their sales exec. 3 months to go !

Emotionally Porsche isn't anywhere near IMO. Sound not as good, looks not as good, smell not as good etc etc.

They may be good cars, but a lot of people make good cars (Audi, BMW, Merc, Jaguar etc). But when spending the thick end of 100k on a car, you need more. The Aston has it. For me, the Porsche doesn't (quite).

I've had 6 x 911 over a 13 year period followed by 2 x V8V's. Every day on the way to my office I will see probably at least 5, maybe 10 (if you include Cayenne's) Porsches. I might see one other AM a week! After a ste day in the office, everything is forgotten after 5 mins driving home in the Aston. I love it!
Still have a 911 though for the sunny Sundays!

Had mine for a year at the end of November and love it as much now as I did on the day I picked it up. There is so much about the car that makes it special but suppose bottom line the reason other people comment on it to me, admire it, do double takes in traffic and have even asked to have their picture taken with it is because of the Aston Martin badge. Although I knew it was special when I bought it, I didn't realise how powerful the feeling is to actualy own one (I worked hard for mine like many others on here I presume). The only other car I considered, for about 5 minutes, was the Audi R8 but even though it has better residuals it is, at the end of the day, an Audi. For me, Porche means flash, whilst Aston means class. Simples smile
You'll love it, best of luck.
