Whirring noise from A/C

Picking up a V8V and the garage are advising that the whirring noise from the A/C is normal?!?! Anyone else experiencing this?

No it is not normal,

Not normal. I still have problems with mine. Every time I start the car up the Air Con goes into re-circulate and blows cold air at you for 15 minutes unless you switch it off Auto or turn temp up to Hi ! Not nice when its cold and miserable ! Dealer says its normal but none of my previous Astons has done this.
