Hi all, hope you don't mind me contacting you and putting this post here! I really want to make my fiances day even more special by having him driven to the church in an amazing car. We live in the Sheffield area and the church is only 5 minutes away from our house. I'm aware that receiving a reward for your time would invalidate your insurance but if this could be worked around then I would be very willing. If anyone has any advice or help for me, please contact me.

Thank you!

Hi Birdy. Marry him in Kent and you have got a ride.

Hey what about the "best man"?

Seriously, I hope someone helps out. Good luck.

Thank you anyway! If the driver was willing i'd like the best man included too.

That would exclude all Vantages as they only have two seats.

And DB9/DBS's, they dont have 'back seats' either. Unless of course the groom and best man are aged 0-6months!!

Maybe the best man is happy to curl up in the boot?? Might be a good way of "getting around" the issue of being honest with your insurance company...

really, wow! Never realised the DB9's boot was that much smaller than a Vantage?? I have no problems getting my weekly shop in and I seriously do reckon at you could just about fit a person curled up in the boot. Wasnt seriously suggesting it though of course! tongue out

But if the "person" goes in the boot, where do the shovels go??

Oh, OP> You might want to try asking the AMOC as well.

Thanks guys! Am sure the best man won't mind curling up in the boot...! or perhaps if the driver didn't mind there could be two journeys? The church isn't far from our house. Not that I want much of course wink! Have tried AMOC but no luck so far. Thanks for your input-really do appreciate it!
