Well, so much for waiting until next year (like I told the Mrs I would) spotted a couple of cars I wanted to see because they had a few 'extra's' such as a Larini exhaust etc...then went for a 'standard' then paid a deposit on an 07 V8V roadster......hopefully collect it Friday morning!

Forget the rain I've just done 1800 miles in 5 days round Scotland roof stayed down for all but the worst rain!
You know it needs the roof up when it starts coming over the top of the windscreen

I know what you mean about the roof down. The roof was always down on the TVR I had. In fact the guy who purchased it seemed surprised I had not had the air con re-gassed but I really didn't see the point as the roof was always down if it was not raining!

Seems to be a popular move from TVR to Aston. i wondered at the time whether I would miss the oomph and rawness of the Tiv, to tell the truth the last time I thought of that was when the Aston keys were placed in my sweaty palm. You'll love it.
