Funny.. I was just googling exactly the same thing... purely out of curiosity.

New V8V wheels will fit, interesting BTW that DB9 wheels are the same size and off-set.

Derby Motor Services has an article about people also fitting DBS wheels on V8V's. Although it does say that it's not recommended as they foul the inner arch.

Do the V12 Vantage wheels fit a V8? I think they look really good.

They'll invalidate your driveline warranty though. They're wider.

And it will invalidate your insurance unless you tell them! At which point your insurance premium will shoot up for fitting several thousand pounds of non-std wheels.

Don't forget, the 'standard' 7 spoke 19" wheels on the v8v are also an option/upgrade, hope everyone told their insurance company....

I don't think the V12 wheels in standard size will fit the V8 as Aston had to modfy the rear suspension to fit the wider tyre on the 12, also the only Aston approved tyre for the standard rims are the P-Z Corsa's.
Sports Pack wheels are the way to go IMO, save a little unsprung weight & look fab.

I thought insurance companies asked about "modifications" rather than "options", as the former suggests a trip to Halfords, rather than the latter which are dealer-fitted.

I noticed sometime ago there was a bloke flogging 5 spoke sports pack wheels on ebay for 1500 quid but they soon went.

Yes, options too, most of which are factory fitted, meaning anything fitted over and above than that of a standard car. Well that's what Admiral have asked me the last couple of times.

I was responding to the question about if V12 wheels could be fitted to an older V8. They are not an option therefore would be an aftermarket upgrade and would increase your premium.

Regardless, technically an insurance company will increase your insurance for anything that wasnt actually ordered at the time of first delivery, even if it was an option available at the time. Thats insurance for ya, just a big rip off...
