DB7 Headlights - dirty (inside)

Can the inside of the headlight units be cleaned? I have researched and come up with no information, including the Aston Martin Dealer.

Personally, I have never attempted to clean the inside of the headlight units on my DB7 V.V., however, I have read that this can be done if you are prepared to spend time removing the front wheels and wheel arch liners. It is then suggested that you are able to gain access to clean the casing by removing the headlight bulbs.
It would certainly be good to see my headlights cleaned internally, but the thought of removing wheels etc, is more than I would want to do, plus the fact that any mistakes made could be costly as the headlight units are circa £1,000 each to replace, from what I have been told!

hi as described it can be done,but it is not the bulb but the light unit that requires removal from the lamp enclosure, great care has to bee taken as bolts securing the lamp can be seized and easily broken,
