Still pondering spending the best part of £200 to upgrade SatNav with Volvo DVDs, but if I do, does anyone know where the SatNav DVD player is located in a Roadster? Do I just put the new disk in and turn on the SatNav?

Thank
Christopher

It's underneath the toneau lid between the seats. If you open the roof and then stop when the toneau is in the upright position you'll see it between the seats sat on top on the rear cubby box.

Thanks. I don't think I'd have worked that out if I lived to be 100.

Dear Chris Don`t bother! yes you get 6 digit postcodes but it is still just as useless as previous effort.Even with the new disc in, mine has this morning within 2 miles of DMS given me the message on a white screen that the recalculation of my route has failed only restarting after I threatened it with a hammer! Thanks Rick for the leak fix!

Make sure you clear the itinerary in the system too. If you don't cross the imaginary finish line in the sky every destination you put in becomes an 'intermediate' destination ie, somewhere it thinks you wanted to go enroute to the first address you entered. This can make the distances and times look very long and can eventually stop the system from working until you delete them.

Mine no longer picks up any satellites. Took it in to the dealer and they failed too fix it. I'm now waiting for the dealer to contact HQ to tell them what to try next.
