DB7 nose cone

Just getting ready for a second respray of the nose cone on my 02 Vantage Volante. Apart from the stone chips it is the very bottom of the cone that keeps getting scratched by humps etc. Are there any suppliers of a decent looking alloy or stainless guard or something that will just protect the bottom side.

Am I just dreaming and would it look naff?

I don't thinkg it'd look that great. You need a strong anti-chip tape. One that's fairly thick. Then you can just peel it off and replace.
