This is well worth a look! Happened on our Glenfiddich run on Sunday.

Way too far over. Could have been very nasty.
You can't give yourself the luxury of 2ft of space on such narrow roads like the Aston driver was doing. If you can't judge it better than that, slow down.
if ever a solid case for " driving with out due care and attention " this is it . good chance this will be followed up by Plod You can't give yourself the luxury of 2ft of space on such narrow roads like the Aston driver was doing. If you can't judge it better than that, slow down.
disgraceful driving from the Aston owner
It often makes me wonder how illegal these meetings are, police & councel are supposed to be notified as it can become after 3 card i think an illegal convoy or illegal gathering.
The laws introduced in the early 90s when all the new age travelers were having fun.
Where do the organisers stand in such a case?
Iknow of the organisers from our local trail ride group being prosecuted for a similar offence whilst out greenlaning .All organised runs are now forbiden using the clubs front.
A few years ago the North east group were out when a car overtook and had to cut in as he had ended up running on to solid white line.with an oncoming member of the pubilc approaching.
One of the Pistonheads Organisers (of an eligal gathering and ilegal convoy)was an off duty copper,(who had been well above the speed limits that trip) reported the driver and encoraged the other P.H.drivers to give evedence (even bribed with fish and chips if they went to court) and a prosecution for reckless or due care (cant remember )was the result of a summers drive..
Like we don't all make mistakes at times,
The post should still be on the North East forum about 3 yrs old

guy in kit car with helmet should be on a track
Sorry, but what a stupid comment Although when I think about it, I'm not sure which is worse - getting a conker in the face or being hit by a conker on the helmet

Thanks for all the comments guys. It was me that posted the video on youtube and it was my step dad driving the kitcar.
He will not be taking it any further, he just wanted to get the video out there and let people see it and to make people aware of the dangers of driving on these roads and how anything can be around the next corner.
Regarding the helmet. As has been posted above, have you tried driving a screenless sports car without a helmet. Getting hit in the face by any sort of object at speed is not pleasent nevermind the wind. My step dad is very carefull about this as he has lost sight in one eye.

WOAH I bet the driver wants to take that further.
Stupid DB9 driver should have seen that guy a lot further off.
maybe the smoke from his ceeeegar was obscuring his vision? c'mon have a heart Stupid DB9 driver should have seen that guy a lot further off.
The point here though is the fact the DB9 driver should not have been in that position on the road, if you freeze the video you can clearly see the DB9 is in the middle of the road with an equal amount of room either side of it. To me this is just plain stupidity, aproaching a corner not knowing what could be coming round it but to still think it will be ok to leave 3 feet of room.
