Just to say hello again, I am a new owner of a DB9 LM (2008 MY)- No. 26 - not really had much of an opportunity to drive it yet but so far think it is a cracking car.

I know there were a few reservations about the LM due to its interior styling, but i can honestly say it is so much better than any pictures show, it is by no means a bright red, closer to a red wine red (if you held the glass upto the light) and with the dark interior it sets it off really well.

I will surely have lots of questions as to how things work, already struggling with Iphone and ipod connections but will continue trying before i ask too much.

One quick question though, in a previous AMV8 I owned i had the exhausts wired (or unplugged)open. I am well aware of fuse 22 but equally aware this has given emission warnings (requiring trip to dealer) for a number of people. assuming i want the full sound all the time is a manual unplugging of the valves or fuse 22 removal the best option?

In the meantime i will try to post pictures but it may need to wait till the weekend and some daylight pictures.

Thanks

Had my exhaust de corked via the pipes. Dealer didn't want to pull the fuse . Took him 10 minutes and didn't charge me. Glad you like the car it is a very unique bit of kit Can't advise on I phone but my Blackberry Bold works fine now after downloading a pairing helper of the Blackberry site. Can also re charge my phone via the USB port. Enjoy

Regarding the phone, make sure your phone's software is up to date and also get a dealer to make sure your bluetooth module has the latest software. Have agood read of the manual too. There's a few idiosyncracies that are explained in there. Other than that, nice car. Personally I like the red. It's different.

Just pulled my fuse after three years of ownership - sounds great and not too noisy at tickover. Checked with my dealer first he did not have any problems with it . Who has had emission warning problems ?

I vaguely remember comments that some had seen emmission warning messages shortly after pulling the fuse . . . but i could be wrong

A fault with the exhaust bypass system (ie fuse removal) will not illuminate the engine warning light.
