DBS to 12 Vantage-Arrived
Discussion
Car arrived just over a week ago and I have been enjoying the different set up. I know it has the same V12 engine, but it feels more urgent with quicker responses especially in sports mode. On the twisty roads its just smile time and holds the bends longer than the DBS and at higher speeds. I will be the first to admit its not so imposing as the DBS for looks. However, its a move I am pleased I made -Roll on for the V12 RS with 600BHP. Also the move from Storm Black to Silver helps with the cleaning time......

Lightening silver looks fantastic on the V12V. I too went from dark coloured DBS to titanium silver V12 Vantage - and I've cleaned her twice in 2 months, compared to every weekend with the DBS -- not for a lack of love, quite the opposite -- she just doesn't need it! Will never go back to black...
I'm in London, so that's 15 V12Vs on here... need to update the wiki

Congratulations on your new car. Regarding the Larini I would advice you to drive the car a bit before you take that decision because I actually think the the standard exhaust is adequately loud in the first place to the point where the sound is borderline intimidating driving on the motorway for longer periods. Secondly you will not be able to take it to any trackdays. Maybe that was less relevant with your DBS but with the V12 Vantage you don't want to miss that I guess. Also the DBS probably gave you a more subdued noise going on the moptorway where the V12 Vantage just is more urgent as you rightly say. In any case - keep us updated of your progress.
