I quite fancy a "older" Aston like the Virage or later V8 Coupe. They seem to be priced from sub 20K to 60K for a 550BHP and 300K for the Le Mans. I prefer the look of the wide bodied versions. Question is are they any good to drive?

There is a world of difference between a standard Virage and a widebody, and that and the V8, and that and the Vantage.

In all guises, they are not sports cars. All will cruise all day at three figure speeds - in straight lines. None will stop very well - some can hardly stop at all.

Vantage is the one to have, IMHO. Most developed chassis, engine and running gear.
