Soft rev limiter/ red lights
Discussion
On my test drive of a 10 plate V12V back in July, I was informed it had a soft rev limiter and I seem to recall in the rev counter dial red bars started to appear as the revs increased above 6000 rpm.
However, mine doesn't appear to do this and I have these red lights in a different place - the small circular display above and in between the rev counter and speedo. This display also shows the red R when reversing.
So, has there been a redesign in this area and if so when was this done? Which versions do ppl have on here?

Been like this from the beginning I think. However, mine doesn't appear to do this and I have these red lights in a different place - the small circular display above and in between the rev counter and speedo. This display also shows the red R when reversing....
My MY07 V8 Coupe has exactly the same set up.
Sounds pretty much like its always been that way then! I think it's just a lot easier to get up there and light it up with a V12!
Must admit there is something about the car that makes you want to drive it fast. I never really felt the lure as strongly in the V8, but the V12 just keep willing you to press on.
