The cooling fan on my V8 vantage seems to be running on for about a minute at the end any journey where the car gets warm. The coolant level is correct, the thermostat is not a thousand miles old and the car is running well with normal fuel economy and performance.I have a feeling this has been covered before but cannot find it.Any clues out there

Mine does the same. Not after every journey though.

wavey John

Is it every time you use it or just sustained use?
Does the temp gauge move off the middle once it is warm?
Many modern cars/ECU's will run the cooling fans after stopping to prevent temps spiking when there is no air flow

The cooling fan is suppose to run on the V8 after ignition switch off ( depending on temp of course). It's designed to do it. Can run for approx 10 minutes if neccessary.
