Going to view two V12V's tomorrow, a Hammerhead and a Meteorite silver. As I have commented before, whilst loving the silver/greys I wanted a different colour for my next car. As funds allow, it must be 2nd hand and I know the market dictates what is available.
So, I am going with an open mind and hoping that I will be entranced as much as I was with my current car.
We will see!

Seems like you've only had your current Aston a few months why the change so soon?
I've had my car over a year now (June 2009) and done 8,500 miles. Never thought of changing until I drove the V12V. Twas an immediate love affair. I guess i'm getting older now and want to experience as much motoring enjoyment as I can prior to my dotage. With the V12V, how can I explain? It really blew me away.Don't get me wrong, if the right car doesn't come up then I am more than satisfied with the V8V, but ...........
Diane, if you continue to look at V12's it will only be a short while until you get one as the urge will not disappear. I was going to wait till next April to get one but the dealer offered me a drive in one at the end of July and here I am collecting mine tomorrow!! All I can say is, if ur happy with your V8 then make sure the V12 is the right colour and spec before change.

Ok, i'm sorry i've bought YOUR CAR. If you give me a quarter of a million quid you can have it. I'll even fill the tank full of fuel!! Dont know how you will sleep tonight. Hope all goes to plan tomorrow, enjoy.
I know exactly how you feel. The moment the V12V was launched I knew I wouldn't resist. I kept telling the dealer that I was going to wait until my N400 was at least 18 months old. And then she arranged a test drive. Not one, but two V12V's, and plenty of time to enjoy them. Sure enough I tested, feel in love with the car, and suddenly nothing else was good enough. I placed an immediate order and within 8 weeks the new car arrived. I remember going through the countdown as our new Mako blue owner is experiencing right now. I know that I will never let go.
Just don't settle for any colour - you will have the car for a long time.

Good luck tomorow and I would deff not settle for 2nd best for one of these beasts, patience is a vertue, right? Girl or no girl....... Like you, been in deep envy since the homecoming last Tuesday, the V12V is truly a magnificent car, the ultimate Vantage. But the V8 is still a very very good car......If you do it, bagsy your rear clear lenses.......

Luck?....not a chance of getting back into the V8V with the same state of mind after you have driven a V12V. So, I am going with an open mind and hoping that I will be entranced as much as I was with my current car.
You will be hooked! The V12V is a most pontent mind-bending, sensibility-depriving drug there is.
Well.... I viewed the cars today as well as a white one, and none floated my boat colourwise. I did really like the V8V coupe I saw in Chiltern Green with a Sandstorm interior. Very traditional and I thought it was gorgeous.
Dealer said it wouldn't suit a V12V but I beg to differ.
The dealer did say that most V12V's are silver or grey and I would be lucky to get what I want.
Also the other downer is that he said my car was worth far less than I had been led to believe. That I am taking with a pinch of salt as I am sure that figures would have improved dramatically if he had a car I was looking to change up to.
Never mind, I am still in love with my car and spent all afternoon cleaning and polishing her. I am happy to wait and see if the right V12V turns up.
Still a good day out feasting on Astons.

It does seem incredible that James Bond's DB5 in Silver 'bloody' Birch has had such a dramatic effect on people's ability to think for themselves... We have an entire generation of Astons all in shades of grey (or metallic grey). This didn't happen in the late 6os,70s & 80s when you had red Astons, green Astons and all sorts of coloured ones so why has the current generation of buyers all deferred to 'what the dealer tells them' and gone for grey?
