Wow, thats stunning. Congratulations!!!

I think you said the paint is Quantum but its amazing how similar that looks to meteroite in both pictures and in real life.

There was a Quantum V12V available when I bought mine and I could very easily have chosen that instead - Quantum is a really beautiful colour! If Im honest Quantum had the edge but I choose the meteorite car because it had the seats I really wanted and the quantum V12V didnt.

This is all quite spooky because Im pretty sure your V8V was pretty much an identical twin of my onyx V8 and we bought and sold at the pretty much the same time, trading up now for near indentical siblings smile

It is still a bloody hard choice between DBS and V12V for me, but you really cant loose whichever way you choose to go. Your DBS is just drop dead beautiful - enjoy in good health mate! smilesmile

That's lovely.

I was sure that my next purchase was going to be Italian once more, but the more I see of these, the more I'm not sure...

Really want a paddle shift car next, so will need to see what's around when I'm looking properly.

Two stunningly beautiful cars. Aston have got a massive job on their hands when replacing these models? Lots of talk about the 458 but Aston still leads the way in design imo.

Now that is what dreams are made of..........

Sorry, a bit off topic, I spy a Q5 in the background and I'm looking at an SLine as a daily, what do they handle like with those 20" wheels? Thanks.......

Thanks for all the great comments, its great to see so many people appreciating the pics...she is awesome! Simon who does the factory tour at Gaydon suggested there are only around 500 DBS's on the road in the UK and its a privilege to be one of those people.

Adam - very spooky and yes it does seem like we have followed the same paths and I too agree there isnt much in it between Quantum and Meteorite although I would like to see a DBS in that colour. I saw a Quantum V12V in the local dealer last year and knew it was the colour for me, i love it, changes so much from sunshine to shade almost going from a bronze tinge to nearly black in deep cloud. Im glad to say at the moment, i really do have my dream car and i cant see that changing for a long time to come...

Neil - not even been detailed, so Jay, I may well be giving you a shout soon just to see what you can do!

Cipo - the Q5 in the background has got 20in wheels as you suggest and the ride is just great, its the 3.0L Diesel. Infact I have just driven it (along with 3 passengers and luggage) for 4.5 hours this morning coming back from V Festival in Chelmsford. Traffic on the 25 was as bad as Ive seen it but i got out at the other end and immediately went for a tennis lesson. Absolutely no back issues or complaints from my passengers. What i would say is that I went for the SE but added variable dynamic suspension and sports seats as I had heard S line with 20in wheels was quite hard. It does make a different going from Comfort to Dynamic. Had it since 1st March and it has been brilliant. I also notice the residuals have been great. I managed 12% discount from the dealer when ordering last October (despite them saying they were offering nothing) and looking now 2nd hand ones with twice/3 times the mileage seem to be going for several 'k' more than I paid. If you have any questions, feel free to pm me.
