I know the satnav is not great but mine is not working at all. I drove from just outside Cambridge up to Gaydon today for the V8 homecoming event and the satnav thought I was in Royston Hertfordshire and hardly moved for the entire journey. It looks like its not managing to lock onto any satellites to give a postion. When I go to Current Location it says GPS 0 at the top.

I gave up with the OEM sat nav a few months ago, and now use a Tom Tom 940. It got me to Gaydon yesterday in 1hr 57mins.

Roll on 2011 (or maybe 2012) when the new Garmin-based version becomes available.

I'm sure this issue has come up before. Do a search on here and/ or Google.

Seem to recall a vehicle reset or ejecting and reinserting discs cured it.

Thanks Murph.

Did a search, could not find too much. I did an electrical reset (boot button, then button behind drivers seat) and also tried ejecting and reinserting the DVD but still no satellites found. Time to call the dealer.

You will need a GPS tunner if the car can not find any sats.
