Might do, weather looks hit and miss with a good chance of rain.

Normally go to this as it's a cracking event. This years meeting looks a bit under subscribed compared to previous years, and missing the Intermarque - and not a great fan of Endurance races! Just hope the weathers kind! Looking mixed at the moment - there again the weather forecast is about as reliable as predicting the lottery!

I should be going, depending on baby sitters. A friend is racing his MGB GT V8 in one of the races.

Does anybody know any really nice 'boutique' hotels within 15 ot 20 miles? - may have a night away!

Great day of racing - the 90 minute V8gt4 endurance race was eventful and wasn't a boring procession.
The old Lagondas looked pedestrian after the modern cars! And the historics went really well - that MGB V8 has some grunt, and there was a great 3 way battle down the field between DB4/5 - Mini - 911!

Next weekend - the Gold Cup!

Yes - what engine is in that mini?!!! My mate won despite a 30 second handicap for winning the last two races (which seems a tad unfair to me.)

Incidentally - who were the two baffoons on the tannoy. They sounded pissed and prattled on all day, giving little insight to the race or drivers and bugged me more than a little.

There were loads of Astons around the grounds, vintage and new. My fave was the Vanquish S next to the paddock. If it was as useable/reliable as the BB9 I would swap tomorrow.
