Hi all,

I just want to say a very honest thank you to those of you that have responded to my PM regarding my study into technology and Aston Martin owners.

I have been overwhelmed by your willingness to help, despite your undoubtably very busy schedules.

Again, Thank you all.

Tom

There's an error on the Survey:

On the Aston Martin currently owned question, "V8 Vantage 4.7 Roadster" is listed twice. I assume one of them was supposed to be "Manual" and the other, "Sport Shift.

Apologies for listing the same version twice, I did intend for them to read different transmission types.

If you wouldn't mind following the Coupe pattern of manual being the uppermost version and Sportshift being the second option that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I filled it in, but in your "where do you live?" question, there was no option for London, so I put Hertfordshire.

The survey production tool only lists counties which leads me to believe that (according to the survey) London must be like the Vatican, or that there is scope to create a new shire, Londonshire.

I can't get beyond the question asking whether I'm in the UK. I'm not, and when I check "No" it then takes me to "2. Residence." That's all it says -- there are no answers to choose from, and that's as far as I can go. If I try the Next button, it says I've failed to answer the required questions, as indicated by "*" even though 1) I have answered all the questions so far with "*" and 2) there is no "*" for "2. Residence."

When you check 'No' for if you reside in the UK, click 'Next' and it will take you to a page marked only as residence - There are no questions to answer as this is serving as a break between the next page of questions. If you click 'Next' on the blank page it will come up with a page entitled 'International residence'. There you should see a text box where you can write the country you live in.

Hope this helps!

Tom.

I wish it helped, but it doesn't. What you suggest is exactly what I did, but it doesn't work. After checking "No" for UK residence, when I click on Next, I get to the "break page" where it says "Residence" but with nothing to select. When I then click Next, I get a pop-up message from eSurveysPro.com, saying "You have not answered all the required questions (marked with a '*'). Please review the questions highlighted in red."

When I click OK on the pop-up, it takes me back to the first page and first question, and every question is highlighted in red, even though I had already answered all of them. It will not allow me to go any further -- I cannot get to a question saying "International Residence." It's like a loop.

Hello,

Having looked through the survey I can see that you have an earlier survey as well as a newer version. It could be that this is confusing the system as it records your IP address to try and deliver you back to where you left off. I have deleted all of your previous submissions so it should see you as starting again.

This is very odd as there have been a couple of International respondents that have managed to continue through the survey.

I apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your perseverance.

All done Tom...interesting there was a focus on Apple products and Aston Martins...I hate Apple...(apart from my iphone).. once the others catch up I will ditch my iPhone. But I work in Technology and am not blinded by Apples 'marketing fluff' like others..Good luck with your CIM..

VOT: I had an Apple ][ as a kid in the early 80s, then abjured Apple for 20 years or so and wouldn't even consider their products. Now I have iphone, ipad and three Macs, but also six Windows 7 PCs and a Windows server to which the Macs will start running TimeMachine once I install the Vail Preview refresh this weekend. I'm OS agnostic, but I still don't see the point of Linux as a desktop OS.

I used not to see the point of Astons. Then I had one for a few days. Macs turned out to be similar.

Apple is biggest tech firm by market cap, which doesn't just happen by accident.

Try it Sadlerj, you just might like it!
