perhaps not an Aston topic but.......I leave both my wifes BMW X3 and my Honda Civic on the road next to my home and some kind prick has ran up the bonnet and the roof of both cars......about 3k worth of damage...........the Aston was tucked away in the garage

Some prick did that in our street a few years ago. He ran down the whole road over the cars, including my (then) M3. Amazingly, I got away with light scratching, but the old lady's car behind me had its roof stoved in. I ran out, but he was over a hundred yards away, so there was nothing I could do.

Chap parks his DB7 (think it's a Vantage - round rear lights) on the road near me. Very narrow roads. Looks like a van/car has dinked his near side door unfortunately frown

Off street parking in London's a God send. Even if it's narrow!

Sorry to hear that. It might be worth investing in some CCTV to point at the street where you park the other cars?

Some kids started doing this down the street where my son was a student in Portsmouth. Word must have travelled fast because towards the end of the street the local residents were waiting with baseball bats and boots! A scuffle broke out and the police got the lot of them, after they'd had to discuss it with the locals for 5-10 minutes wink

Have done just that......full Sony lens CCTV with high spec night vision matched up to a 500gig hard drive, records on 28 day loops, with full online availability.....I can see and move the cameras from anywhere in the world from my IPhone

My wife is so upset by the damage done to her pride and joy X3............pricks

grim that mate, the only downside with the cameras is identification.i have had a few incidents at the factory with scallies getting in the yard.the tape is next to useless if hoods are up.i'm now hooked up to a monitering centre that speak over a tannoy if there is a security issue and then ring the police.you'd love to catch the little bds doing it wouldn't you?

Is it visible? If not, I'd put a sign up on the wall by the cars noting that the area is covered by CCTV.

It might, all being well, at least put the f***rs off doing it again.

the sign on the wall is a good idea but I live in a listed building and the locals get a bit strange about that sort of thing.....but I will give it a go
