I'm considering purchase of above and I'm interested in what kind of consumption figures may be expected given conservative driving on long runs? What potential mechanical problems should I be aware of?

with the greatest respect these subjects have been covered many times......use the search facility and you will have a wealth of information.....if it helps driving a DB7 Vantage as a daily drive will cost you about 3-5k a year excluding petrol

Thanks for your kind response......the search facility is under maintenance, hence my posting. I'm particularly interested in the 3.2 DB7.

Hi,

You will find that the Vantage does "Some miles to the gallon sir", and the 3.2 does "Some miles to the gallon sir".

I have read figures from 18 to 25 for the 3.2 and our 6.0 probably does about 15-17 I suppose - I don't think about it or it may spoil the enjoyment of the car. Petrol costs are the least of your worries biggrin

Cheers,
Matt.

If fuel consumption is your first concern (be it for financial or green issues) then an Aston is not for you.

My i6 averaged 18 mpg. 24 was the best/worst.
